The hall of residence is located on campus. There, the canteen and cafeterias of the Studentenwerk (student services) can also be found. The complex has 140 rooms, divided into flat shares and apartments. Parking spaces can be rented.

Rent deposit
The tenant has to pay a security deposit of 350 EUR for a room or 400 EUR for an apartment.
Duration of housing
The tenancy is limited to six semesters. The semesters during which the tenant has already lived in other dormitories of the Student Administration of Schleswig-Holstein (Studentenwerk) are to be taken into account when determining the total semester count.

Standard application procedure
Application requirements
Only students who are enrolled at a university in the state of Schleswig-Holstein can live in the dormitories of the Studentenwerk SH.
A certificate of enrolment is not required for an application. Student enrolment certificates can be uploaded later via the website.
International and students with disabilities are given priority.
Application deadline
Application deadlines:
15 January for summer semester, 15 July for winter semester
Later applications might be considered.
