Make the commencement of your studies in Hamburg easier and organise your accommodation in Hamburg already from your home country: All you need to do is book the Studierendenwerk’s service package, thus benefiting from transparent costs and a focus on your studies (rather than on the search of accommodation) right from the start.

What does the Service Package include?
- A guaranteed accommodation at the beginning of the winter semester (beginning 1 September or 1 October)
- A furnished room in one of our halls of residence
- Support from our student welcome tutors

What are the conditions?
- You are an international student/freemover.
- You want to organise your international studies already from your home country.
- You pay our security deposit as well as three monthly rents in advance.
- The minimum rental period is six months – the contract cannot be terminated prior to this period.

The number of Service Packages is limited and they will be issued based on the order of the bookings. There are no more Service Packages available for the winter semester 2019/20120.

Additional information

Short-term rental rooms with a higher price and additional services are offered to students needing a room for less than six months. These are allocated by the Zentrale Kurzzeitvermietung (Kurzzeitvermietung@studierendenwerk-hamburg.de).
