Programme Description
The scholarship is intended to meet the costs students and researchers from higher education institutions in the Czech Republic incur when attending language and short courses at a state or state-funded higher education institution in the state of Bavaria. The funding includes the course fee and, if applicable, an allowance of up to 400 EUR to cover accommodation expenses, unless they are included in the course fee. Students, doctoral candidates, teaching staff and researchers at institutions of higher education in the Czech Republic are eligible for application; at the same time, they must be Czech nationals. Candidates for language courses are expected to have at least B1-level command of the German language.
The scholarship can also be put towards the cost of German language courses for exam preparations (DSH) at higher education institutions in Bavaria.

Scholarship Value
- course fee (all applicable fees, including additional modules, workshops, excursions, etc.)
- if applicable, an allowance of up to 400 EUR for accommodation expenses, unless they are included in the course fee

- letter of motivation on your choice of course (1 page, in German/English)
- resume in table format including photo and language proficiency level
- students/doctoral students: certificate of enrolment and documented academic record (transcript)
- letter of recommendation by one higher education teacher in German/Czech/English
- proof of nationality (scan of passport or ID card)
