The scholarships are aimed at students and young professionals in the following disciplines: biology and molecular biology, biotechnology and bioinformatics, chemistry and biochemistry, pharmacy and computational life sciences. The Otto Bayer scholarship finances international students and young professionals with up to two years of experience who wish to study, research or do an internship in Germany. Candidates have a strong sense of commitment and motivation and submit an innovative research proposal, which will be funded individually.

- bioprocess engineering and bioinformatics
- chemistry and biochemistry
- pharmacy and computational life sciences
two to 12 months

Applicants should have a strong sense of commitment and motivation and submit an innovative research proposal. The project may be in the form of special courses, individual stays in laboratories or research projects, summer schools, internships, master or doctoral programmes.
