This course targets ERASMUS+ students and partnership students who will study at the University of Göttingen in the 2024 summer semester.
The course is also open to participants who will not study in Göttingen or who are not participating in an exchange programme ("external participants").
The aim of the international spring course is to make it easier for international students to settle into the university by offering a language preparation course before the start of the lecture period. Besides the intensive general German lessons (communication in everyday life combined with elements of cultural studies), there will be an extensive programme of extracurricular activities to get to know the town of Göttingen and its surrounding area. The course is also open to participants who aren't studying in Göttingen or who are not participating in an exchange programme.

Inexpensive meals are available at the university canteens and cafeterias.
The programme includes a guided walk around Göttingen, social and cultural events, sports, language tutorials, and excursions at the weekend.
Students will be introduced to the university campus and to the town of Göttingen.
