This unique short-term course offers you the chance to undertake a demanding, in-depth study of the European Union and its workings. You will spend four weeks of interdisciplinary study focusing on highly relevant topics related to economics, business/finance, politics, and social sciences in the European Union. The course includes weekly educational visits to companies and institutions (e.g. Siemens, BMW, and EU political institutions) offering insights into the workings of the EU. Our "German Culture & Society: Intercultural Perspectives" module will also give you the chance to reflect on your cross-cultural experiences in greater detail.
Before the start of the on-site programme in Berlin, we will offer a virtual German language preparatory course as an optional add-on. This course is the ideal preparation for your time in Berlin – you will receive fascinating insights into German culture and a crash-course in the German language, all before you have even landed in Germany.
