At the moment, the tuition fees amount to 1,990 EUR per semester. As of now, the one-time fee for the Master's thesis amounts to 720 EUR.
In the financial and insurance sectors, an increasing importance is being placed on in-depth knowledge of and expertise in modern financial mathematics and actuarial science as well as the ability to apply these statistically and numerically.
The distance learning programme is aimed at graduates of mathematics or other subjects with significant proportions of mathematics who wish to acquire a detailed understanding of financial mathematics.

For interested mathematicians with professional experience who wish to acquire a deeper understanding of financial mathematics in a focused one-year programme without obtaining a (further) Master's degree, we offer the distance learning programme in “Applied Financial Mathematics”.
The teaching-learning format consists of comprehensive, scientifically sound and practice-oriented self-study materials that have been developed by experts especially for distance learning, an online campus as an interactive learning platform, and on-campus phases to consolidate the knowledge that is acquired through self-study in theory and practice. Mandatory on-campus phases take place once per semester over a (long) weekend in Kaiserslautern.

In addition to the tuition fees, a social contribution of currently 124 EUR is due each semester.
The tuition fees and semester contribution do not include travel and accommodation expenses or meal allowances during the on-campus phases.
