Course organisation

In addition to the general skills of the Master's degree programme in Ethics, this course of study will place greater emphasis on the competence of intercultural argumentation in three languages (English, French, German) thanks to the following:

  1. Courses are divided as follows: the first semester (autumn semester) is in Strasbourg, the second semester is in Freiburg im Breisgau, the third semester is at both universities and students can attend courses and seminars from all Eucor universities – the European Campus, and fourth semester takes place at the university of the student's choice (Strasbourg or Freiburg im Breisgau).
  2. There is one international seminar per semester (semesters one to three), jointly organised by Freiburg im Breisgau and Strasbourg, held in French, German, and English, and held alternately in the two cities.
  3. English courses are made a priority in the first semester in Strasbourg in order to promote the integration of all students and to allow the learning of French or German for the non-native speakers.
