The Managing Global Dynamics programme is a consecutive Master's programme. It offers a practice-oriented education at a high level based on scientific findings. The aim is to promote the ability to sustainably manage international companies in the digital age. These management skills include strategic know-how and project management skills.

The Master's programme in "Managing Global Dynamics" comprises 12 coordinated modules, including a comprehensive research project and the final Master's thesis:

The obligatory semester abroad broadens the students' academic and social horizons. Together with the research project, this prepares the students for their final Master's theses.

The study programme in “Managing Global Dynamics” requires students to spend a mandatory semester abroad. Students will therefore attend four modules in their second semester either at Universitá degli studi di Salerno (Italy) or Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (Romania).

Academic admission requirements

The basic requirement is a grade point average (NC) in the Bachelor's programme of 2.5 or better.

Every qualification must be checked individually, depending on the educational background of each student.

Language requirements

We strongly recommend English language skills at level C1 (CEFR)!

Applicants must prove their English language proficiency at level B2 (CEFR). Applicants with an English-language university entrance qualification are considered to have the necessary language skills. Applicants with a German-language university entrance qualification must provide evidence of English language skills at level B2 (CEFR) on the basis of the university entrance qualification or a certificate within the scope of the application.

To ensure linguistic flexibility when communicating with other students and living in Germany, German language skills at level A2 are recommended. This must be proven by a corresponding certificate within 12 months after the start of the degree programme.

Possibility of finding part-time employment

In order to finance your living expenses during your studies, you can look for a student job. However, please note that your focus should always be on your studies.

Students from non-EU countries may work 120 full days or 240 half days per year. If you work as a student assistant at a university or a company, the amount of days may be higher.

Students from EU countries: There are no restrictions.

About THWS

The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) was established in 1971, with campuses in two locations in Würzburg and Schweinfurt. Today, the THWS is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Bavaria (southern Germany). Course offerings

With its 10 departments and more than 40 undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as six research institutes, the THWS offers a broad, practice- and future-oriented course programme. Low student-teacher ratio
