For this course DAAD university summer course scholarships (usually starting at language level B1) are available. If you wish to apply for this course, you can find all necessary information about the scholarship programme and its application requirements here. To submit your application, please note the reference number HSK-7702. This number can only be used for presence courses. Applying for attending online courses is not possible.
No knowledge of the German language is required.
Approx. 250 to 350 EUR for accommodation in student residences or in the International Guest House of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, depending on the room type and student status (approx. 250 EUR for accommodation in a double room in the International Guest House)
No meals are provided. Lunch can be bought at student rates at the nearby student cafeteria ("Mensa") on campus.

The Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences has a great reputation in the region and far beyond. It is the largest and highest performing University of Applied Sciences in Lower Saxony. Four faculties (Agricultural Sciences and Landscape Architecture; Engineering and Computer Science; Management, Culture, and Technology [in Lingen]; and Business Management and Social Sciences) and the Institute of Music form the backbone of the university at the two locations in Osnabrück and Lingen.
With around 110 degree programmes, the Bachelor's, Master's and advanced training levels are truly comprehensive. Our university has been a pioneer in many areas of academic training – e.g. in the establishment of new degree programmes – and has thus earned the reputation of being an innovative and progressive institution of higher education. With 14,000 students (as of spring 2020), our ever-growing university has reached an impressive size. That is, the university is actively involved in society and views research as a vital contribution to practically aiding in the resolution of socially relevant issues. Four of the profile-defining research concentrations are healthcare services research, care management, and informatics in healthcare; pioneering agricultural system technologies; innovative materials and material technologies; and energy systems, management, and law.
With the recent establishment of domestic research priorities focusing on inclusion, the energy supply of the future, urban agriculture, musicians' health, and organisational communication, the university generates substantial momentum for interdisciplinary research. The domestic research is funded through internal funds alone.
