Special features library The library provides a current and demand-oriented selection of literature and media: in addition to printed volumes and print magazines, numerous e-books, databases and e-journals. In the library building: Single workstations (with / without PCs), individual workrooms, group workspace. Courses on the following topics: Basics of Library Use and Catalogue Research, SMART Board, Literature Management. Special features University Sports The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The programme is open to: Members of the University of Göttingen (in Vechta). The courses are oriented towards leisure and popular sports, and therefore scheduled so that movement and sporting activities can be combined with fun and communication. In terms of health sports, strength is built up and individual performance improved. The university has a gymnasium, a gym hall, a multi-functional room, a fitness centre, an indoor-cycling area as well as a multi-functional 'beach' site, a football pitch and track and field athletics facilities in the outdoor area. more information »
