Special features library With a stock of nearly 4 million volumes and extensive digital resources, Thuringia University and State Library (ThULB) is not only valued as a "place of learning" but also as a provider of information. The "Universal Multimedia Electronic Library" of the ThULB is a powerful platform for various applications. Special features University Sports The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. The University Sports Programme is open to students, staff, alumni and trainees of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the Ernst-Abbe-Hochschule Jena University of Applied Sciences, the Staatliche Berufsschule für Gesundheit and Soziales, the Student Union Thüringen and members of the University Sports Club. Anyone from outside the university who is interested in taking part can participate in our university sports courses if there is free capacity.
