Special features University Sports The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. Students of HAW Hamburg can take advantage of the diverse range offered by the university sports Hamburg. HAW Hamburg is also a partner university of top-level sport in Hamburg and helps top student athletes to master the requirements of study and performance training and to flexibly coordinate the timing of training and competitions with exam dates, etc. The university sports Hamburg offers all students of the HAW Hamburg a multifaceted, attractive sports program. The 350 sports courses per semester are accompanied by fitness classes in the three university sport studios, numerous sports trips and weekend courses. Right at the centre of the Berliner Tor campus is an ultramodern health and fitness studio that offers the best possible sporting facilities.
