Special features library As the central academic library, the State and University Library Bremen (SuUB) supports all state higher education institutions in Bremen and Bremerhaven. The search system E-LIB offers integrated access to currently 67 million print and electronic media. The library offers students modern individual workspaces and group work zones as well as an extensive range of options for individual consultation and training for groups, e.g. introductions to academic research or courses on the subject of literature management. more information »

Special features University Sports The university offers its own sports programme. Participation is subject to fees. The university sports offer students, the university members and citizens of Bremen a varied program, which serves above all to promote the fun and the joy of common sport activities. The spectrum of the currently approx. 450 courses ranges from amateur and recreational sports, to student competitive sports, from acrobatics to circus arts. The participants can get to know new and alternative sports or improve performances and techniques in already known sports. Of the approx. 8,500 participants each semester, around one third are non-students. more information »
