Description/content

Specialised lectures

Each week, specialists in the areas of engineering and business research will introduce their fields during intensive lectures. You will learn about current topics and receive up-to-date insights into German engineering and management, including sustainable logistics, the Green Deal, design thinking, start-up management, and the circular economy.

Company visits

You will discover the global players of the region through interactive tours. These include internationally known companies such as Hager, Villeroy and Boch, or Saarstahl. Take the opportunity to learn about potential employers and the regional job market. You might also bring your CV to get into contact with HR representatives after the tours.

German courses

In addition to the lectures and company tours, you will benefit from an intensive German language course consisting of ten teaching hours per week, which is offered at basic (A0/A1) or advanced (B2/C1) levels. Learn about job-specific vocabulary and related topics like how to write your CV to impress German companies.

Intercultural communication

You will dive into the German working culture in a dense course of four teaching hours per week. You will focus on work and business cultures such as organisational and team cultures frequently found in German companies. You will also be introduced to the basics of communication culture in professional and private environments. Our approach is learner-centred and follows effective training methods.
