Students from all disciplines as well as individuals who are not currently enrolled as students but have an interest in German language and culture
Minimum age by the start of the programme: 17 years old
The language course will take place from Monday to Friday in the mornings. Each morning, there will be four teaching units (45 minutes each). The learning methods are quite versatile; they include a variety of conversation exercises and discussions. This is complemented by contemporary listening and reading materials, along with modern task-based grammar training. In this way, you can deepen and expand your oral and written German skills. Under the expert guidance of our qualified and experienced teachers, you can fully immerse yourself in the German-speaking culture. Specific study techniques, such as reading strategies and presentation skills, will also be practised. The lessons align with the objectives of communicative competence outlined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). They are delivered in an entertaining and inspiring way, aimed at assisting your independent learning process.
In the afternoons, you can choose from seminars on various current issues in the areas of cultural and social sciences, e.g. history, literature, and European policy.
A graded certificate will be issued to all participants at the end of the course. It will include your individual language level according to the CEFR as well as your ECTS credits.
