Description/content

The Business Data Science with Python programme contains the learning materials, practices and case studies to develop the knowledge and skills of the students in the field of data science and its application in the real business/work world. The students will learn how to apply analytical techniques and scientific principles to extract valuable information from business data for decision-making and strategic planning. This course covers practical contents of statistics, machine learning, information visualisation, and data analysis techniques through python programming language and other tools.

Description of social and leisure programme

Our cultural programme is packed with fascinating and stimulating activities that encompass Berlin and its surroundings. Participants of the TU Berlin Summer and Winter School will have the opportunity to visit some of Berlin's most famous sites and museums and to experience the local culture first-hand through the historical, social, and sporting activities offered throughout the programme. Cultural activities are included in the participation fee.

Activities in the cultural programme include:

  • Sightseeing tour of Berlin
  • Visit to the Reichstag (the German parliament)
  • Experience Berlin's cultural and historical hot spots (Museum Island, Brandenburger Tor, beer gardens, and more )
  • Sports and team building activities

In addition, we offer optional extra excursions that include one-day guided tours of the beautiful cities of Potsdam and Dresden. We will charge an additional fee for those excursions, which covers transportation, guided city tours, entrance fees for the museums, and guided tours of the museums.
