The courses are held in classroom sessions. New courses start February 2025.

Description/content

The aim is to successfully prepare future students for the officially recognised DSH exam (German Language Test for Admission to Higher Education for Foreign Applicants, a language certificate relevant for university admission at an advanced language level, B2/C1 of the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" of the Council of Europe). We want to provide future students with the best possible support and give them a good basis for successful studies.

Required level is at least B1. Certificates are welcome, and there is an additional (obligatory) online placement test.

Each course ends before an exam date so that the DSH exam at the Leibniz Language Centre (LLC) can be taken after the preparation module. Registration for the exam takes place separately from the preparation courses, whereby participation in the exam is guaranteed.
