The one-year full-time MBA is designed for high-achieving professionals from all over the world who are seeking a career change and who are eager to learn more about general management. In the full-time MBA programme, our students study and work in interdisciplinary, multicultural study groups and have the opportunity to develop leadership and interpersonal skills in an international environment.

The first five months of the programme comprise mandatory core modules that provide a solid foundation in basic management concepts and core organisational functions.
The core modules are followed by advanced courses that provide deeper insights on strategy and organisation, marketing and sales, entrepreneurship and innovation, and advanced finance.
The MBA programme includes three study-abroad weeks in the US, Asia and Middle East. The Asia and Middle East modules focus on the chances, challenges, and risks of doing business in emerging markets. The US module is a tailor-made executive education programme that provides insights into management education’s latest hot topics.
The final MBA project can take the form of a business-plan, research paper, or report written in cooperation with a company while completing an internship.
PDF DownloadWe currently cooperate with partner universities in the USA (Kellogg, Chicago) and partner schools in Thailand, Vietnam, Israel and the United Arab Emirates. One week at each of the three partner universities is mandatory and consists of tailor-made lectures delivered by senior faculty members of our partners and company visits.
The final MBA project gives you the opportunity to apply all that you have learned in a real-life project. We encourage our students to complete their Master's theses as part of a company project (internship).

As the teaching language is English, non-native speakers have to take the TOEFL (100) or IELTS (7.0) test. Waivers are possible for applicants with substantial study or work experience in the English language.

Due to a very tight schedule, students do not have the opportunity to work during this intense full-time MBA programme. Nevertheless, we encourage our students to undertake the final MBA project as part of a company project.

WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management is a state-approved private institute of higher education with university status. WHU offers internationally-oriented courses of study in Business Administration (MSc, BSc), a full-time and part-time MBA, the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA, and a doctoral degree programme as well as specialised corporate training programmes.
